Acer Tempo DX900 announcement is just the confirmation of something we already saw few days ago. This Dual-SIM Smartphone is the first mobile to support both 3.5 (HSDPA) and 2.75G (EDGE) SIM cards.
The handset has a 2.8 VGA touch screen, 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera, voice recorder, GPS and runs on Windows Mobile 6.1. The company gives no information about upgrading OS to Windows Mobile 6.5.

Acer DX900, Glofiish rebranded
Recently Acer has announced its first Dual SIM phone: Acer DX900. This phone was previously known as Glofiish DX900. Acer took over E-ten (Glofiish maker) few months ago and this is one of the first steps of Acer in the phone market.
Acer DX900 Pocket PC runs on Windows Mobile 6.1, powered by a Samsung S3C 6400 533 MHz processor, has 256MB of ROM and 128MB of RAM. The Acer DX900 features a 2.8-inch touchscreen, a 3 Megapixel camera, a 0.3 Megapixel front camera, WiFi 802.11b/g, GPS and Bluetooth.
Acer DX900 supports HSDPA/UMTS and Quad-band GSM networks. Includes a 1530 mAh battery, measures 106x60.5x17 mm and weighs 147 grams.
It will be presented at the MWC (February 2009).

First Dual-SIM running on Android
General Mobile (a rather unknown company) has recently announced the first Dual SIM phone running on Android. The DSTL1 Imaginary will be presented during the MWC from 16 to 19 February 2009 in Barcelona (Spain).The DSTL1 Imaginary has some impressive features such as:
